Gianni Mariani

B.Sc., D.O. Athletic Therapist and Osteopath

Gianni Mariani is a highly skilled Athletic Therapist and Osteopath with 30 years of experience dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of individuals across a wide spectrum of ages and abilities. A graduate with distinction and honors in Exercise Science from Concordia University, Gianni specialized in Athletic Therapy. His commitment to ongoing professional growth led him to pursue comprehensive Osteopathic training at the Collège D’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal, earning his diploma of Osteopathy (D.O.).

Gianni’s expertise is further complemented by extensive training in advanced therapeutic techniques in manual therapy, concussion treatments, TMJ and Advanced Reconditioning. His diverse skill set allows him to offer a highly individualized approach to patient care.

Over the years, Gianni has provided expertise to numerous sports teams and organizations, including his role as Head Therapist for Vanier College and Consultant Therapist for Athletics Canada. He has also served as a key member of the Canadian Medical Team at major international events, including the Olympic Games in Athens and London, the World University Games in Sicily and Torino, the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Santo Domingo, Guadalajara, and Toronto, as well as the World Track and Field Championships in Jamaica, Helsinki and Berlin. Gianni has also played a significant leadership role within the professional community, serving as former president of the Quebec Corporation of Athletic Therapists and as a founding member and past director of the Quebec Sports Medicine Council.

A founding partner of a highly successful multi-disciplinary clinic in Laval, Gianni, alongside his spouse Nancy Carbone, built a thriving practice centered around patient care. After several years, Gianni and Nancy transitioned to explore new professional ventures, joining with former colleagues at Physiocité+.

Outside of work, Gianni enjoys spending quality time with his two athletic children. His love of sports and dedication to his children has reignited his love for coaching amateur hockey.
